What this site asks for
This site asks for no details about you. reOCD is preparing online treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It is not taking requests yet, so there is nothing to fill in or sign up to. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools.
Web server logs
Like most web servers, the server that runs this site keeps standard logs of each visit. These record the internet (IP) address a request came from, the page asked for, the browser type and the time. We use these logs to keep the site working and secure, and delete them after 14 days. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
If you email us
If you write to hello@rephobia.com, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use it only to reply to you, and we add nobody to a mailing list. We keep emails while we need them to answer you and for up to two years after we last hear from you, then delete them. If you choose to tell us about your health, we use it only to reply to you. An email about OCD can say something about your health, so share only what you are comfortable sharing.
Who can see it
Only Rephobia Limited staff who run this site or answer email can see the logs and your messages. The site’s server is in the UK. Our email provider, Zoho, stores messages for us in the European Union under a data processing agreement.
When reOCD opens
Before reOCD takes any requests, we will update this notice. It will explain what the service collects, why, who can see it and how long it is kept.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK or the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
Who is responsible
Rephobia Limited, company number NI715353, registered in Northern Ireland, is the data controller, which means it is responsible for your information. Its registered office is C/O Pacem Advisory, 3rd Floor, 2-10 East Bridge Street, Belfast BT1 3NQ. Rephobia Limited trades as Rephobia, reOCD and rePTSD, and this notice covers all three.
